Russian steelmakers want to export without surcharges.

The government is thinking about canceling the extra charge for JSC Russian Railways.

As "the Kommersant" informs, the government agreed to consider the complete abolition of export charge to the tariff of JSC Russian Railways on the transport of steel products. Steelmakers raised this topic at a meeting of with the Deputy Prime Minister Arkadiy Dvorkovich, fearing that they cannot maintain export volumes in 2016, and thus lose the right to the cancellation of extra charge under the current monopoly conditions. At the same time FAS believes that it is necessary to separately consider "each case". Experts believe that steelmakers need to provide an additional influx of goods.
