Bashkiria is not going to sell its package of Bashneft’s shares

Bashkiria has no plans to sell its shares of Bashneft, one of the ten largest Russian oil companies, the head of the republic Rustem Khamitov told reporters on Tuesday.

Earlier mass media reported that federal authorities intended to sell a part (25% shares) of the package, owned by the Federal Property Management Agency.

"As for our package of 25% plus one share. Our next position is following - not to sell. Now it’s not profitable to sell. We don’t hold any negotiations," - R. Khamitov said.
