Belorusneft to extract oil in Ecuador

Belorusneft will extract oil in Ecuador at the Armadilio deposit, sources in the Internet write.

The contract for rendering of services was signed on February 10th between the Ecuador state oil company “Petroamazonas” and consortium JSC Ecuaservoil that was founded in 2014 by the major shareholder, Belorusneft and an Ecuador engineering company “Edinpetrol”.

The contract is signed for 15 years. After the transfer of the asset to the consortium Ecuaservoil JSC, the development will be held with the use of the Belarus technologies.

With the application of the secondary and tertiary methods of oil extraction rise, the Belarus specialists hope to significantly increase the volumes of oil production in future. Specially integrate services presuppose the production optimization, geological exploration, drilling and repair of wells.
