CAR launches Kogadyrsk Mill, Kazakhstan.

Australian Central Asia Resources Ltd (CAR, develops gold deposits in Kazakhstan) has put into commercial operation gold recovery plant (Mill) on Kogadyrsk gold deposit in Zhambyl region, local media reports.

In the first phase the new factory has a capacity of 450 tons for the processing of ore and production of 500 kg of doré gold. In the future it is planned to bring the capacity of the plant to processing 900 tons of ore with an annual production of one ton of the precious metal. The project cost is 2.1 billion tenge (11.6 million dollars).
