Sberbank has issued a $1.2 bln loan to Norilsk Nickel

​Taking into account the new credit line, the unutilized limit of confirmed long-term reserve credit lines of MMK is about $1.9 bln.

MMK Norilsk Nickel announces of the completion of the deal on the attraction of unsecured loan for the total amount of $1.2 bln from Sberbank. Sberbank CIB is the organizer of the deal.

The deal is held in the framework of the financing strategy of Norilsk Nickel and will allow to improve the debt portfolio of the company by means of the prolongation of the settlement schedule as well as the growth of volume of confirmed lines as an additional source of stable financing in the mid-term perspective.

“The recent deals of the company on the attraction of financing confirm the trust of creditors to Norilsk Nickel which is explained by the stable financing position and conservative approach of the management to the structure of the group’s capital in the conditions of instability of prices in the metal market”, MMK said.
