Rostec to build gas pipeline from north of Pakistan south to LNG-terminal

The Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources of Pakistan Shahid Abbasi Hakan in the presence of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif have signed an intergovernmental agreement on the construction of the gas pipeline North - South from Karachi to Lahore, reported the Russian Ministry of Energy.

The project will be implemented by the Russian company RT - Global Resources, a member of the state-owned corporation Rostec. Currently, surveys along the pipeline route, design and engineering work are conducted.
