Gazprom to start prospecting drilling in the Barents Sea in 2019

Gazprom will begin exploratory drilling in the Barents Sea only in 2019, the company drilled in the Kara Sea in 2015, but it will take a break until 2018, said head of the Gazprom’s department on gas, gas condensate and oil Vsevolod Cherepanov.
Gazprom has currently 38 licenses on the shelf of the Russian Federation and one is at the stage of registration.
