Azerbaijan is absolutely certain that the project of the Southern gas corridor to be implemented

Azerbaijan is fully confident that the project of the Southern gas corridor will be realized and thus the construction of a new gas pipeline from Azerbaijan to Europe will be ensured.

This was said by the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the joint press conference with the President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman in Baku on Tuesday.

"Mr. President, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen, once again I welcome you in Azerbaijan. Welcome to our country. We attach great importance to your visit and I am sure that the visit will be successful and the results of the visit will make closer our countries," - said President Ilham Aliyev.

The country’s head noted that the relations between the two countries developed successfully, there were excellent results in the political, economic and cultural spheres.
