Preparation of intergovernmental agreement on construction of South Stream in Serbia completed

A working meeting of Gazprom’s head Alexei Miller and President of Serbia Milorad Dodik has been held in the central office of the company.

The parties discussed the main directions and prospects of cooperation in the energy sector. In particular, they talked about the construction of the South Stream pipeline. Currently, the parties complete the preparation of the intergovernmental agreement within the framework of the project. The document provides for the joint construction and the continued use of a bend from the main section of the gas pipeline into Serbia, as well as the development of gas energy of the country.
