CherMK to invest 2 bln roubles in improvement of cold-rolling mill

In the framework of the program of reconstruction of the 4-cage cold-rolling mill, the Cherepovets metallurgical plant will purchase new roll grinding machines to treat the mill’s rolls. Fully automatic, they provide perfect meeting of requirements and level of surface treatment, are very reliable and equipped with patented control-measuring devices, the press service of the enterprise says.

The supplier of the main equipment is Tenova S.p.A. (Italy). The contract value for the purchase of machines will be about 4 mln euro, in general the retooling will cost 2 bln roubles.
