Ukraine buys less than 10 billion cubic metres of gas from Gazprom in the first half of the year

In the first half of 2013 Gazprom delivered only 9.67 billion cubic metres of natural gas to Ukraine. Thus, the country is not one of four largest importers of Russian gas anymore.

In January-June,the Ukraine's purchases of Russian gas were almost 40% lower than in the first half of 2012, RBC reports. A year ago Gazprom supplied the country with 15.92 billion cubic metres of gas.
