Diamonds at the Akmerov site in Bashkiria are not attractive

​The auction for geological study, exploration and extraction of diamonds and accompanying components at the Akhmerov site in Bashkortostan appointed for May 13th is proved invalid due to the absence of applications, is reported on the official website of the Government of Russia.

The forecast P2 diamond resources at the site that have been tested and given the expert’s assessment make up 23 mln carats, P3-127 mln carats. The metallogenic potential of the accompanying gold at the subsoil site is assessed at 122 tons. The site is located in the Beloretsk region, 15 km to the west of Beloretsk. The area is 89 sq km.
