In H1 of 2014, export of Russian oil through Kozmino grew by 10.3% to 11.7 million tons

In January-June 2014, the port of Kozmino shipped 117 oil shipments, of 100 thousand tons each; the total volume made up 11.7 million tons that is by 10.3% more than in the same period in 2013.

The main consignee of ESPO oil were Japan, where 4.4 million tons (37.6%) were supplied, and China - 2.4 million tons (20.5%).

South Korea imported 1.7 million tons (14.5%), the Philippines - 0.9 million tons (7.7%), Thailand - 0.8 million tons (6.8%), Malaysia - 0.75 million tons (6 , 4%), New Zealand - 0.3 million tons (2.6%), Singapore - 0.27 million tons (2.3%), Taiwan - 0.1 million tons (0.9%) and Indonesia - 0.08 million tons (0.7%).

Since the beginning of 2014, ​​11.1 million tons were received via the ESPO-2 oil pipeline, and 0.6 million tons (5.2%) – via the Far Eastern railway.
Thus, the port receives 94.8% of oil through the main oil pipeline. In the coming months, it’s planned to maintain the same ratio.
