The EU is not about to pay of the gas debts of the Ukraine

The European Union is not planning to pay off the debts of the Ukraine for the Russian gas. D.Ristori, the DG of Energy of the European Commission said.
“We have rendered important macro-financial assistance. We have close contacts with the International Monetary Fund in order to contribute to the energy market of the Ukraine. It is important,” D.Ristori said.
The Ukrainian debt for the Russian gas makes up $5.2 billion, NTV reports.
