Uzbekneftegaz will allocate $334 million to gas condensate deposits development

In 2013-2014, Uzbekneftegaz will allocate $334 million to gas condensate deposits development at the border of Turkmenistan. The Government has agreed the feasibility study of the project presupposing the extended development of 5 deposits including the largest deposits of Samantepe, Girsan and Tailyak. The awaited yield will be up to 6.8 billion cubic m of gas and 160,000 tons of gas condensate a year by 2020. The group of deposits was discovered in the beginning of 90-s but was not developed until the recent time. The volume of its reserves is not made public.
