Gazprom is again dismissed in its claim on RWE on take-or-pay

The Commercial Court of Vienna has upheld the decision of the International Arbitration Court in Vienna on Gazprom export’s suit to RWE Transgas on its take-or-pay obligations for gas supply to the Czech Republic, made in October of last year, a prospectus to Gazprom’s eurobonds reports.
Gazprom will appeal to a court of higher instance - to the Higher Regional Court of Vienna.
In August of 2010, Gazprom export initiated arbitration proceedings on implementation of take-or-pay obligations by RWE Transgas.
