The annual general meeting of shareholders of the largest oil and gas company has taken place in St. Petersburg.
It wasn’t always such big, as now. 10 years ago, the company first appeared on the international stock market. Since 2006, the company has seriously changed. Its oil production grew 2.5 times, gas - more than 4.5 times. Rosneft is ahead of other companies in terms of capitalization, today it is worth more than Gazprom – the second-largest company in Russia - by $5 billion already.
And there is a reserve for the future. The volume of the Rosneft’s hydrocarbon reserves, taking into account the non-stop production, was estimated by experts at least at 46 years - it is the best result in the industry worldwide.
