Rosneft is still dissatisfied with the performance of its joint venture with Gazpromneft – Slavneft, although the main financial and production rates of the joint venture improve. Back in 2015, shareholders agreed on separate management of Slavneft’s assets. Experts believe that it is high time to divide areas of ​​responsibility, as sometimes it’s not easy for the shareholders to agree to work together at the parity joint venture.

Head of Rosneft Igor Sechin says that the company "is concerned" about the effectiveness of Slavneft. "We raise the question, there is a program that we have developed with Gazpromneft, and we will raise efficiency," - he said. The company didn’t clarify what exactly Rosneft didn’t like, Gazpromneft doesn’t comment on the situation.
