Import of oil products via Ukrainian ports fell by 60% in 2016

​In January-April 2016 the Ukrainian sea ports reduced the transshipment of imported oil products by 60% against January-April 2015 to 204 thousand tons.

According to the State Statistics Service, the major volumes of transshipment of imported oil products in January-April 2016 took placed at the Yuzhny port (99 thousand tons, fall by 81%) and Kherson sea port (35.1 thousand tons, growth by 224%).

26.2 thousand tons of fuel were imported via the Nikolayevsky sea port, 22 thousand tons via Illichevsky sea port, 11.7 thousand tons via Oktyabks port and 9.6 thousand tons of oil products via the Izmailsky sea port.

Compared with 2015, the transshipment of oil products in January-April 2016 was not held at the  Teniysky and Skodovsky sea ports.

From the end of March Russia renewed the issue of permissions for diesel fuel supply to the Ukraine for civil purposes.
