Gazprom and CNPC discuss an opportunity of payment for gas by the western route in yuans or roubles

Gazprom and CNPC haven’t agreed on the currency of payments for gas supply by the western route – the Altai route pipeline, CEO of “Gazprom export”, E. Burmistrova, said on June 16th.
According to her, the purchase- and-sale agreement between Gazprom and CNPC hasn’t been signed. So the currency hasn’t been determined.
On May 8th A. Miller and the Vice-President of CNPC, V. Dunttszin, signed an agreement on the main conditions of supply of the Russian gas to China by the western route.
It was signed at the presence of V. Putin and head of China, S. Tszinpin.
