Gazprom and Novatek agree to join shipbuilding consortium in the Far East

Gazprom and the largest Russian independent gas producer Novatek have ageed to join the consortium of members “Far Eastern Center of Shipbuilding and Ship Repair"(DTsSS), the Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov reported to journalists on the margins of the XXI World Petroleum Congress. "The memorandum was signed in order to develop the format of thejoining of Gazprom and Novatek to the Far Eastern Center of Shipbuilding and Ship Repair in the near future. We are talking about joining to the asset, which is now created in the Far East,"- he said.

According to him, the working group will determine the percentage and format, with which the companies will join the DTsSS. "This will be decided literally in the next few weeks. The principal decision to join was made as by Novatek, as by Gazprom,” - he stressed.
