Bashneft has launched the Russian first petrol hydro fining utility

Bashneft launched the Russian first petrol hydro fining utility with annual capacity of 1.3 million tons a year at the subsidiary Bashneft-UNPZ on June 10. They invested to the project over 5 billion rubles. The President of Bashneft, A. Korsik claims that after the launch of the utility they will only produce Euro 5 petrol. The utility meets the demands of environment protection and its launch is one of the stages of upgrading of the oil refining complex. It won’t anyhow influence price of petrol. Further modernization is aimed at the cessation of production of either fuel oil or vacuum gasoil. Bashneft will produce only super quality light oil products.

By the end of 2018, Bashneft is going to build a delayed coking utility at the same site. Investment to the project will be 20 billion rubles, the director of Bashneft-Ufaneftechem, Y. Polunkin says.
