6.5 million tons of oil produced from Tungor field in the north of Sakhalin

RN-Sakhalinmorneftegaz has reached the production level of 6.5 million tons of oil from the Tungor field, located in the northeast of Sakhalin from the begining of its operation.
The field has been developed from 1958.
Currently, oil and gas at the Tungor field are produced by over ten operating wells.
In 2013, a number of geological and technical measures to stabilize production levels was carried out. The oil production exceeded 26 thousand tons.
