Russia and Japan elaborate the project for creation of energy bridge from Sakhalin to Japan
The project for creation of energy bridge from Sakhalin to Japan should be additionally worked over, the Vice Minister of Energy of Russia A. Shishkin reports. The project exists and is being elaborated but needs a comprehensive economic estimation that has not been held as yet. Several projects are realized and planned in the energy sphere. They are going to construct a direct current point via the Amur river. It will increase power supplies to China from 1 billion kW/h to 5-6 billion kW/h. A large power generating station will be constructed near the China and Russian border, but Mr. Shishkin does not name the precise place for the construction.
