From May 2016 Russian gas transit to Europe via the Ukraine to grew by 17%

​From the beginning of May 2016 Gazprom increased gas supply to Europe via the Ukraine by 17% to 3.18 bln cubic m, Ukrtransgas reported.

In the first part of May 3.18 bln cubic m of gas were shipped to Europe, which is by 17% more than within the same period in 2015.

In total from the beginning of 2016, 28.1 bln cubic m of gas were shipped to Europe, which is by 7.7 bln cubic m more than in 2015.

As of May 16th 2016, the transit of gas is held at the rate of 211 mln cubic m a day.

In April 2016, 5.56 bln cubic m of gas were shipped to Europe, which is by 7% higher than in 2015.

In March 2016 Russian gas transit via the Ukraine in annual terms rose by 42% to 6.8 bln cubic m.

In February 2016 gas transit to Europe and Moldova grew by 66% or 2.5 bln cubic  m against February 2015 and made up 6.1 bln cubic m.
