Difficulties in Russian economy may accelerate the further privatization of Rosneft

The Russian Government has discussed the acceleration of the further privatization of Rosneft’s share package.
According to Russian mass media, the sale may take place in the autumn of 2014 or in 2015. Previously it was planned to sell the package in 2016.
The acceleration is connected with possible difficult situation in the country’s economy, but details of possible sale haven’t been determined yet.
