Kazakhstan increased gold production by 31.1% to 13.3 tons in Q1

​In Q1 2015 Kazakhstan produced 13.293 tons of crude and semi-finished gold, gold powder, that is by 31.1% more than in Q1 2014, the Statistic Committee of the Ministry of National Economy reports.

The production of fine gold made up 8.001 tons, by 34.6% more than in Q1 2014.

Silver output (crude, semi-finished and powder) made up 321.2 tons (growth by 1.5 times), including fine silver – 320.5 tons (growth by 1.5 times).

The production of refined crude, non-alloyed copper made up 94.7 thousand tons in Q1 (+38.3%), crude zinc – 80 thousand tons (-0.3%), crude refined lead – 29.3 thousand tons (-9.5%).
