China interested in acquisition of Conoco’s share in Kashagan

China is interested in the purchase of the ConocoPhillips’ share in the Kashagan project on the Caspian shelf, the Kazakh Minister of Oil and Gas Sauat Mynbaev reported to journalists on the margins of the government session on Tuesday.
On Friday, the agency Bloomberg reported, referring to unnamed sources that Kazakhstan considered the acquisition of the Conoco’s share in the value of $5 billion for its further sale to Chinese company.
