Azneft extracted over 1 mln tons of oil and about 1 bln cubic m of gas in January-February 2016

​Azneft (in the structure of SOCAR) January-February 2016 extracted 1.037 mln tons of oil having executed the plan on oil extraction by 100.3%.

The volume of gas production in January-February 2016 made up 994.609 mln cubic m having executed the plan by 103%.

In January-February 2016, 27 wells were returned from the inactive fund from which in total 3.956 thousand tons were extracted.

In February 2016, 9 new wells were put into operation from which 3.704 thousand tons were extracted.

114 geological measures were held at the wells, by means of which the additional oil extraction made up 7.343 thousand tons.

In January-February 2016 Azneft held technical and technological measures, the additional extraction of the account of which amounted to 7.743 thousand tons of oil.

In 2015 Azneft extracted 6.778 mln tons of oil and 6.1 bln cubic m of gas.
