Evraz NTMK increases energy efficiency of production

In 2015, activities, aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the production, allowed Evraz NTMK to reduce the cost by 353 million rubles.
The main contribution was brought by measures on increasing its own generation and maximizing the use of free metallurgical gases - blast furnace and coke, as well as modernization of the lighting systems and water supply. Restoring insulation of steam and hot water pipelines allowed the company to reduce the loss of heat energy, and the new automated system of technical metering of electricity and heat - to flexibly adjust needs and monitor payments.
