Kazakhstan reduced oil extraction by 1.3% to 73.7 mln tons in Jan-November

The volume of oil and gas condensate extraction in Kazakhstan in Jan-November 2014 made up 73.7 mln tons, by 1.3% less against the same period in 2013, the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of the country reported.

Crude oil extraction over 11 months fell 2.5% to 61.9 mln tons, gas condensate extraction rose 5.2% to make up 11.8 mln tons, is reported.

Natural gas extraction in Kazakhstan over 11 months 2014 made up 38.8 bln cubic m, by 1.8% more than in Jan-November 2013. The extraction of natural gas rose 3.8% to 19.3 bln cubic m, of associated petroleum gas stayed at the level of 2013 – 19.4 bln cubic m.
