Exporters of flat section from CIS have to reduce the quotations for their products

At the end of the first ten-day period of October Russian and Ukrainian producers of flat section went on with offering their products to the consumers in Turkey, Europe and Middle East against November contracts. As it had been expected, the first results of this trading were not very good for the suppliers. As the demand for flat sections was weak and the common tendencies at the world market were negative, the exporters had to reduce the quotations by $10-20 per ton compared to the previous month.
