CIS flat section exporters have to reduce prices for their products

In the end of the first decade of October, the Russian and the Ukrainian flat section producers have restarted bidding offering to the Turkish, European and Middle Eastern buyers their products for the November contracts. As it was awaited, the first results of this bidding appeared not favorable very much for the suppliers. Under the influence of weak demand for flat sections and common negative tendencies at the global steel market, the exporters had to lower the prices by $10-20 per ton in comparison to the former month.
