Azerbaijan is going to increase hydrocarbons production

Azerbaijan will maintain its status as an oil and gas exporter, under the forecast of the Asian Energy Outlook made by the Asian Bank for Development up to 2035. Azerbaijan will further extract much more oil and gas that its internal consumption. With the increase in production at the Azeri-Chirag-Gyuneshli deposit, the peak level will be achieved by 2015 at a rate of 1.4 million barrels of oil a day. From 2020, oil production at the block will reduce that will lead to common reduction in daily production to 1.26 million barrels by 2035.
