Rosneft to spend 16.4 bln roubles for drilling of wells in Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area -Yugra

​Rosneft’s affiliate – RN-drilling – and Orenburg drilling company will drill oil and gas wells in the Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area –Yugra for the total amount of about 16.4 bln roubles.

RN-drilling will render the service for about 10 bln roubles, Orenburg drilling company – for 6.3 bln roubles. According to the purchase documentation, the works should be executed until the end of 2016.

RN-Yuganskneftegas – the largest oil extraction enterprise of Rosneft, that develops 32 license sites in the Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area –Yugra – is the technical ordered of works.

Hydrocarbons extraction of RN-Yuganskneftegas in 2015 will reach 66 mln tons, I. Sechin said. The company’s reserves make up over 2 bln tons of oil equivalent, driftage volume in operational drilling in 2015 will rise by more than 70% and will make up 3.8 thousand linear km.

In 2014 Rosneft increased hydrocarbons extraction by 14.5% to 251.6 mln tons of oil equivalent.
