Geologists of Belorusneft have discovered a new layer at Rechinsky deposit

The geologists of Belorusneft have discovered a new layer at the northern block of the lansko-starooskol layers of the Rechinsky deposit.

As a result of additional deepening works at the operational well #148, oil containing layers with the total depth of 13.4 m were opened.

The industrial flow of light oil with the output of about 25 tons a day was received while testing.

By the preliminary assessment of the specialists of Belorusneft, the potential geological reserves of the layer might make up about 700 thousand tons.

Currently a program of additional exploration of the northern block of the lansko-starooskol layers of the Rechinsky deposit and determination of development direction is being worked out.
