Gazpromneft plans to attract partners to development of the Arctic

Gazpromneft retains plans to attract partners to the development of the Dolginskoye field and the North-Wrangel area, located on the Arctic shelf of Russia, deputy general director of the company, Vadim Yakovlev reported to journalists

"We completed the drilling of exploration well (at the Dolginskoye field) in late August, next week we will begin a set of tests. The task of this stage is clarification and confirmation of the reserves volume that are necessary to make a decision on the commercial development. In parallel, we are working to attract a partner. This work is continued. There is a number of companies that are currently in the "data room", we study information on them. Naturally, when in a couple of months results of the test in this well are obtained, most likely, they will make a decision, acquainted and having learned the results of the drilling and the testing of the first well,"- said Yakovlev.

In addition, Gazpromneft, according to Yakovlev, continues to consider the option of developing the North-Wrangel area together with a partner. "Yes, we continue to work on this, - said Yakovlev, answered for the question about the possibility of attracting a partner. - We just recently got the license, just a few months ago. Therefore, as for the North-Wrangel area - this is the initial stage".
