Foundation of gas transportation consortium to deal with Ukrainian gas transportation system presupposes reduction of gas price to $268.5

If the Ukraine founded a joint gas transportation consortium with Russia, it could obtain a reduction of gas price to $268.5 per 1 thousand cubic metres, the RF Ambassador in Ukraine, Mikhail Zurabov said on August 14.
“The fact that in December 2012 it was planned to sign the main parameters of the soulions to the gas problemn means it was possible to find a compromise about the price of Russian gas for Ukraine beyond the customs union. This price could have made up $268.5 per 1 thousand cubic metres of gas”, the Ambassador said on Wednesday.
