In case of a consortium creation Russia would sell gas to the Ukraine at the price of $268.5 per 1 thousand cubic meters

In case of a creation of a Russian-Ukrainian consortium on the Ukrainian gas transportation system management the price of Russian gas for the Ukraine would be much less than the current one - $268.5 instead of $400 per 1 thousand cubic meters, the Russian Ambassador in the Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov stated.

According to him, the Russian party was ready to come to an agreement on decrease of the gas price for the Ukraine during the visit of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich to Moscow, scheduled for December of 2012, but the visit was cancelled by the Ukrainian party.
