Vedomosti: “Bashneft” reduces oil processing

Bashneft reduced oil processing to 9.2 million tons ( down 14.9%) in January-June 2015. Light oil production increased up to 68.5%, petrol production decreased by 1.7%, residual oil production decreased to 16.7%, Vedomosti writes.
Analysts say such a decrease of processing is due to the tax manoeuvre, because of which VAT increased by almost 12.4% in early 2015. However, reduction of export duties made up 40-70%. According to them, such a reduction of processing will not cause sharp growth in the cost of petrol in retail sales.
