The Russian Governmental commission has agreed the prolongation of duty-free oil products supplies to Kazakhstan

The Russian Governmental law project commission has agreed the law prolonging until 2015 the agreement about duty-free oil products supplies to Kazakhstan with the prohibition of their re-exporting, RIA News reports referring to the news of the Cabinet of Ministers. The law will be discussed in the near future by the Government.

On December 24th 2013, Russia and Kazakhstan prolonged the agreement about trade and economic cooperation in the sphere of oil and oil product supplies. Russia supplies oil products to Kazakhstan on a duty-free basis for internal consumption. Light oil products supplies is up to 1.5 million tons.
