Oil production in Azerbaijan falls by almost 3% each year

In June, Azerbaijan's oil production fell by 5.4% as compared with May. As of July the 1st, 2014 oil stocks amounted to 270.8 thousand tons against 344.1 thousand tons previously.

In January-June, the crude oil production by all producers in Azerbaijan made up 158.287 million barrels as compared to 321.401 million in 2013 and 320.667 million barrels in 2012. It was 338.467 million barrels in 2011, 379.224 million barrels in 2010, 375.807 million barrels in 2009 and 332.07 million barrels in 2008.
