Oil export duty in Russia from August 1st to rise to $388.4

The oil export duty in Russia from August 1st 2014 will rise by $3.2 to $388.4 per ton. Now the oil export duty is $385.2 per ton.

The expert of the Ministry of Finance, A. Sakovich, said the average price monitored from June 15th until July 14th was $108.4119 per barrel or $791.4 per ton. So the Government of Russia is likely to set the duty at the level of $388.4 per ton. The preferential duty rate for oil from the Eastern Siberia, Caspian deposits and Prirazlomny deposit will be $191.8 per ton from August 1st (from July 1st - $189.4).
