Export of crude oil from Azerbaijan reduced by 4.9% in the first half of the year

In January-June export of crude oil from Azerbaijan made up about 17.286 million tons – by 4.9% less than in the first half of 2012. The data was provided by the State Customs Committee of the country.

About 14.058 million tons were pumped via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, about 1.926 million tons – via Baku-Supsa oil line (Georgia), 823.323 thousand tons – via Baku-Novorossiysk and 478.479 thousand tons were transported by rail to Georgian ports in the Black Sea, RIA News reports.
