Kazakhstan to increase oil processing up to 17.5 mln tons a year after the modernization of an oil refinery

Kazakhstan will increase oil processing up to 17.5 million tons a year after the completion of modernization of oil processing plants, vice-Minister of Energy of the republic M.Mirzagaliev said.

“Completion of modernization will let us set the output of products of K4-K5 class, increase processing capacity from the current 15 to 17.5 million tons a year and remove dependence on light oil products import,” he said at the conference, held in Astana.
