Gazprom Neft to construct a unit of primary oil processing at Omsk oil refinery

​Gazprom Neft plans to construct a new primary processing unit ELOU-AVT at the Omsk oil refinery plant with the value of 40 bln roubles.

The capacity of the unit will be 8.4 mln tons of oil a year and 1.2 mln tons of stable gas condensate a year. The investment into the project of Gazprom Neft will be about 40 bln roubles.

The unit is planned to be put into operation by the beginning of 2019, after that 6 primary oil processing units of old generation will be put out of operation. It will allow to minimize the influence of the plant on the environment.

The Omsk oil refinery has been issued a positive conclusion of the State Expertise of Russia for the project documentation of the new production unit. ELOU-AVT will comprise 6 parts, including a separate block for stable gas condensate processing. It will allow to increase the volume of processing of stable gas condensate and engage additional volumes of condensate into the production of gasoline and diesel fuel of Euro-5 standard as well as jet fuel.
