Evraz has been certified for wheels production for railroad of the Czech Republic

​The wheels are meant to be installed at cargo wagons and are produced out of ER7 steel mark worked out specially for export models.

The Nizhny Tagil metallurgical plant (Evraz NTMK) has been certified for 5 types of railway wheels allowing to ship them to the largest rilway operator of Czechia – the railroad of Czechia (České dráhy, ČD).

The document was issued for solid-rolled railway wheel with a curved disk of BA-409, 428, 314, 004, 005 models. The wheels of BA-004, BA-005 and BA-314 models have the European TSI certificate which allows to ship products to all EU countries. Until the end of Q3 2016 another 2 types of wheels are to be certified.

The BA-409, 428, 314, 004 and 005 models were mastered by Evraz NTMK in 2014-2016. The wheels are meant to be installed at cargo wagons and are produced out of ER7 steel mark worked out specially for export models. Steel firmness is not less than 255 Brinnell points.
