Russia hopes to supply more gas to Serbia

Russia plans to increase gas supplies to Serbia, despite the failure of  the“South Stream” gas pipeline construction. S.Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia stated.

“Unfortunately, we have failed to realize the construction of the South Stream gas pipeline on the territory of Serbia because of the non-constructive policy of Brussels, which blocked the project. Meanwhile, we are about to expand our energy dialogue, including Russian gas supply to Serbia,” he said in an interview to Serbian newspaper “Policy”.
