Russia. Gas tariffs may go up by 7.5-8.5% in 2015

Gas tariffs for all consumers may go up by 7.5% and by 8.5% for the population. Tariffs on thermal power may increase by 7.5-9%, on electric power – by 7.5-11%. They stated in the Ministry of Economic Development that they have discussed the figures at the meeting with the premier D.Medvedev.
The sources of the edition state that indexing of tariffs of natural monopolies has been supported at the meeting on April 30. An official decision has not been taken so far.
