Gazprom plans to start on being listed at the Singapore Exchange

In July, the Russian gas monopoly Gazprom plans to receive a listing at Singapore Exchange, a source in the company’s management reported. According to him, the company negotiates with the Exchange and prepares the documents for the listing.

The company doesn’t think that this step will increase the shares price. “It is a question of more liquid trade of our ADR's – it will be carried out round the clock,” – the source explained. According to him, he doesn’t expect significant flow of liquidity from the London Exchange to the Singapore one, because there are less funds on the Asian market and they are more expensive – the value of loans on Asian markets is higher by about 100 basis points.
